We are delighted to celebrate the recent achievements of Nephele, a talented Whitchurch High School student at the JKS England National Championships. Her dedication and skill were evident as she delivered outstanding performances and earned two medals:

  • Gold – 11–13 Years Individual Kata (1st Dan+)

This incredible success is the result of Nephele’s hard work, perseverance, and passion for karate.

Mrs Robson, Assistant Headteacher in charge of KS3, said:“We are immensely proud of Nephele’s achievements. Her commitment to training and her determination to excel are truly inspiring. She is a fantastic role model for our younger students, showing what can be achieved through dedication and resilience.”

We are also thrilled to share that Nephele has been selected to join the squad competing at the JKS World Championships in Brazil in August 2026. This is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to her talent and commitment to the sport.

Congratulations, Nephele! Your success makes Whitchurch High School proud, and we look forward to supporting you on your journey to the world stage.
