Year 8 Student Edith Donates Hair and Raises Over £750 for The Little Princess Trust
We are incredibly proud to share the inspiring story of Edith, a Year 8 student at our school, who has made a remarkable contribution to The Little Princess Trust — a charity that provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or conditions such as Alopecia.
Edith recently had 12 inches of her hair cut off to donate to the charity, helping to create high-quality wigs for children in need. But her generosity didn’t stop there — she also raised over £750 in donations to support the charity’s vital work.
The Little Princess Trust not only provides wigs but is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK. The charity relies entirely on the kindness and support of people like Edith to continue giving Hair and Hope to young people facing incredibly difficult challenges.
Edith’s selfless act is a shining example of compassion, courage, and community spirit. We are so proud of her achievement and the positive impact she is making in the lives of others.
