GCSE Results Day

Whitchurch High School marked an important milestone for Year 11 students as they received their long-awaited GCSE results. These results were a testament to the resilience, determination, and dedication students showed throughout their time with us.

We were immensely proud of what they achieved, not only in their examinations but also in the positive attitudes, personal growth, and commitment they demonstrated both inside and outside the classroom.

Headteacher Mr John said: “We celebrated the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our remarkable Year 11 students. Your results reflected the commitment you showed throughout your time at Whitchurch High School, and we were genuinely proud of everything you accomplished. Whether you continued with us in Sixth Form, headed to college, started work, or explored another exciting opportunity, we wished you every success.”

Many of our students returned in September to join our thriving Sixth Form, while others moved on to new adventures at college, in apprenticeships, or in the workplace. Whatever their chosen path, we know that the skills, knowledge, and values they gained at Whitchurch High School will serve them well in the future.
We also took the opportunity to thank parents and carers for their unwavering support. Strong partnerships between home and school are central to student success, and we were grateful for the encouragement and commitment shown by our families throughout the year.

A heartfelt thank you also went to our teaching and support staff. Their expertise, care, and dedication guided our students every step of the way. The achievements we celebrated reflected the extraordinary efforts of a whole school community working together.

As we look ahead, we are confident that our Year 11 cohort will continue to make a positive impact on the wider community. Their achievements are just the beginning of an exciting journey, and we look forward to seeing all that they will accomplish in the years ahead.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 — you have made your families, your community, and Whitchurch High School truly proud.
