Language Ambassadors
Seven Language Ambassadors from Whitchurch High School had the privilege of attending Cardiff University for specialised training. The day proved to be both enlightening and exhilarating as our students delved into the vibrant atmosphere of the Modern Foreign Languages building.
Throughout the day, our ambassadors had the opportunity to engage with university tutors, immersing themselves in the rich academic environment. They participated enthusiastically in French and Chinese language lessons, gaining valuable insights and experiences.
The event, organised by Routes into Languages, featured a series of dynamic workshops aimed at equipping our students with innovative strategies to promote language learning within our school community. Energised by these sessions, our ambassadors are eager to implement these ideas at Whitchurch and share their newfound knowledge with their peers.
This training experience has not only broadened our ambassadors' horizons but has also ignited their passion for languages, inspiring them to become catalysts for linguistic enthusiasm within our school.
