Engineering Success
Each year the DT Department participates in the Engineering Education Scheme Wales (EESW), an extracurricular scheme solving real life problems with companies. The scheme is open to Year 12 students who volunteer to take part in and compete with other school across Wales. This year we had 11 students participating, forming two groups.
Our brief this year was set by the Royal Mint Museum, and the pupils had to design and present a coin press, and produce posters and resources to showcase their group's work. Well done to all the Year 12 pupils involved.
