Welsh Chess Champion
Llongyfarchiadau to Whitchurch High School Year 7 student David Belochkin who has won the Under 13 Welsh Chess Championship 2023 following on from his successes of 2022 where he was second in the Under 12 category and third in under 13 category for the Welsh Championships.
David is a member of National Squad and North Cardiff Chess Club. Together with National Junior Team he was third place in NYCA Championship 2022 (Kenilworth, England) and first in South Wales and West of England Team Championships 2022.
