Year 12 and 13 Subject Information

We recognise that the move from GCSE’s to A-Level study is challenging and we have created a sixth form which makes this transition as easy as possible providing students with both independence and structured support.

Our sixth form offers a vast array of qualifications at all levels providing academic rigor, pastoral support, and guidance to give students the qualifications and personal development needed for success in any chosen field. Students are able to explore the subjects that interest them within a vibrant, friendly, and purposeful learning environment. Our academic programme prepares students for top universities and careers, focussing on providing depth as well as breadth.

YEAR 11 OPTION PROCESS 2025-2026:

  • COMPLETION OF ILPP: September 2025 to April 2026
  • YEAR 11 OPTIONS LAUNCH: Week beginning 10th November 2025
  • OPTION SUBJECT INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THE SCHOOL WEBSITE: December 2025
  • KEY STAGE 5 SUBJECT OPTION TALKS IN LESSONS AND ASSEMBLY: December 2025 onwards
  • SIXTH FORM OPTIONS OPEN EVENING: 15th January 2026   5-7pm
  • FREE CHOICE SURVEY: 19th January – 2nd February 2026 – the decisions made by pupils at this stage are used to help formulate the Sixth form option grid.
  • OPTION GRID AVAILABLE: 13th February 2026
  • INDIVIDUAL STUDENT INTERVIEWS: 24th, 25th and 26th   February 2026
  • SIXTH FORM APPLICATION DEADLINE: 9th March 2026.
